News was received here this morning of the death of Ed. Depping at La Crosse where he ewnt{sic} recently for an operation for appendicitis. He leaves a wife and three children who have the sympathy of the community in their sad affliction.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Sept. 11, 1875 and died June 13, 1910; however Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery records in Waukon, IA shows he was born in 1876.
