The friends of Dr. G. A. Rogers will regret to learn of his death at his home in White Lake, S. D., on the 18th of April after a lingering illness at the age of 60 years. He was a resident of Frankville for a number of years, having practiced medicine here from 1873 to 1881. He was also married here Jully 3, 1878, to Miss Alice Hooper, who with two sons remain to mourn their loss. The elder son J. C. Rogers who has nearly completed a course in medicine will soon take up his father’s practice in White Lake while George, the younger, is studying dentistry in Chicago and will complete the course next year. The family have many friends who sympathize with them in their sorrow.
