John Warley Dead.
County Auditor Linnevold received a telegram last Saturday morning announcing the death of John Warley, once a well known resident of Winneshiek county but recently living in McHenry county, N. D. In an early day Mr. Warley was a clerk for R. F. Gibson and a rural school teacher here, and enjoyed a wide acquaintance. After leaving here he lived for some years in Minnesota and at one time was engaged in the interest of the Lutheran Ladies’ seminary at Redwing. Some years ago he returned to Winneshiek county and conducted the store at Nordness, which he subsequently sold and removed to North Dakota.
