Death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bernatz at Calmar last Friday night and claimed their baby boy of a year old. Geo. Bernatz went over Saturday to attend the funeral and remained over Sunday.

Little George{sic}, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bernatz, died Friday evening after suffering for several weeks. His funeral was held Sunday at the Catholic church.

Transcriber’s Note: Find Grave shows this was Gerald and that he was born in 1909. He is buried in the St. Aloysius Cemetery.
