Was a Nonagenarian.
Old friends of Mrs. Hiland, who for many years made her home in Decorah and resided in the house south of L. L. Cadwell’s on Maple avenue, will learn with regret of her death which occurred on Thursday last at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Margaret Grinsell-Conklin at Madison, Wis. Mrs. Hiland lived to the good old age of ninety years. Mrs. T. C. Hutchinson went down Friday to attend the funeral, which was held Saturday.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows an Elizabeth Hiland who died in 1910 and is buried in Madison, WI.; however, it shows she was born in 1825 which would not agree with the above.
