The news of the death of Guss A. Ness came to us Sunday morning. On Saturday he returned from Prairie du Chien, where he had gone to take baths at the sanitarium, but being in too weak a condition to take the treatment, came back unaided. The funeral services took place at the Norwegian Lutheran church Tuesday at 2 o’clock, Rev. Olson of Cresco conducting the services. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife, father, three brothers and two sisters.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows his name as Gustav. He was born Jan. 10 1876 and died Oct. 16, 1909;however his gravestone shows 1875. He is buried in the Hillside Cemetery.
