Mrs. A. G. Seavy Passes Away.
Zylphia, A. Ellison, widow of the late Albert G. Seavy, died Saturday last at the home of her son-in-law E. E. Auchmoody at Blackwell, Okla., after an illness of nearly a year, the cause of death being paralysis. The remains were brought to Decorah Tuesday and interfered in Phelps cemetery. Mrs. Seavy was born Sept. 10, 1839, at Toledo, Ohio. She was thrice married, her first husband being Lafayette Lamb. Two sons—Warren and Henry—survive this union, Her second marriage was to Daniel Wager, one daughter—Clara B. Wager, (now Mrs. Auchmoody)—being the fruit of this union. Mrs. Seavy moved from Toledo to Burr Oak, Iowa, about forty years ago, later coming to Decorah, where she resided until about eight years ago when she went to Kansas City to make her home with her daughter and son-in-law, later moving to Oklahoma. Mrs. Seavy was a kind hearted, motherly woman always ready to lend her aid in times of need and comfort those in affliction.
