Mrs. Ole Tvedt passed away after a lingering illness on Thursday, and was buried in the Big Canoe cemetery on Saturday. She was of a kindly disposition, and a willing helper in everything and will be greatly missed. She has been nearly blind the latter years, but bore her affliction with patience. She was at the time of her death past 83 years.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Kjersta Tveite. She was born March 7, 1827 and died Aug. 3, 1909; however, Thursday was the 5th.
