D. C. Malloy came up from Castalia Saturday and Sunday he went to Blooming Prairie to be in attendance at the funeral of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Keenan. L. A. Meyer took charge of the Castalia bank during Mr. Malloy’s absence.

D. C. Malloy and family was called to Blooming Prairie to attend the funeral of Mrs.{sic} Malloy’s mother-in-law, Mrs. Keenan, Monday. Mr. Malloy returned Monday night but Eugene, May and Eileen will not return until next week.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Ellen who was born June 27, 1836 and died Aug. 6, 1909. She is buried in the St, Columbanus Cemetery in Blooming Prairie, MN.
