Died in Los Angeles.
News came to Decorah relatives last Thursday of the death in Los Angeles, Cal., of Alex. Sheggrud, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Sheggrud, residing on the Reed farm just west of the Trout Run mill. It is only a little more than a year since Mr. Sheggrud moved to the golden state and his death is felt as an untimely one by many friends here in his old home. He was born in Frankville township about thirty-five years ago and is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter, beside his parents and two brothers and sisters.

Relatives of Alex. Sheggrud received the sad news of his death at his home in California last week. We understand he had an operation for appendicitis some time ago and never regained his health after it.
