Franklin Perry was born in Adams, Jefferson county, N.Y., July 28, 1842{?}. Died at his home in Castalia, April 26, 1909. At the age of 12 he moved with his parents to Iowa, where he lived continuously to the time of his death. He was married to Miss Rosa Barnum July 13, 1882. As a result of this union four children were born three of whom—Merritt L., Mrs. Joe Gress and Mrs. E. D. Clossey,--together with the wife, survive the father and husband. The interment will be at the Bloomfield cemetery Wednesday, April 28, at two o’clock p. m. Thus another of the early pioneers has passed to the great beyond.
