Mrs. Eric Anderson was over at Burr Oak Tuesday attending the funeral of her father Mr. I. Kline, who died Sunday as the result of a fall from a tree a week ago.

Isaac Kline, who lived in what used to be the Oscar Phillips house, died Sunday from the effects of a fall about two weeks previous. Funeral at the M. E. church Tuesday, the 6th.

It was a great shock to the people of our burg to hear of the sudden death of Isaac Kline, a former Northern Canoe neighbor, but who had lived for some time in and around Burr Oak. He fell from a tree that he climbed for the purpose of cutting off a limb and sustained injuries which caused his death.

Tuesday’s rain made it very unpleasant for the funeral of Mr. Kline.
