Leila June (Halvorson) Wallace passed away at Mount Olivet Careview Home in Minneapolis, Minn., on Dec. 6, 2022.

She was born in Decorah on June 23, 1930. She lived her life in Decorah and Waterloo in Iowa, Hutchinson, Kans., and Edina, Minn.She is preceded in death by her parents Olvin and Beatrice Halvorson, sisters Doris, Grayce and Olive.

She is survived by her sister Ramona, daughters: Linda Carlson, Lori Wallace, Lana Wallace; sons: Timothy (Carol) Wallace, James Wallace; grandsons: Todd, Jeffrey (Nicole), Benjamin, Matthew, Ryan and Alex.

There will be a graveside service & celebration of life in Decorah, IA on June 23rd, 2023. Memorials preferred to Mount Oliver Careview Home, 5517 Lyndale Ave South, Mpls, MN 55419-1719. We wish to thank Mount Olivet Home for the love & care provided over the past few years. She fought the fight and finished the race to heaven.
