Fritz Kissinger died at the home of F. A. Stanley, after a lingering illness, Wednesday, Oct. 21st. Mr. Kissinger was born in Washington County, is, June 37th {?}, 1845. For quite a number of years he lived in Minneapolis and Winona before he located here. He was an expert butcher and in that capacity worked for F. A. Stanley twelve years. For a number of years he had lived apart from his family, all of them, his wife and two daughters, coming from Minneapolis to attend the funeral. Fred was of a genial disposition, and will be missed at his place of business, where he has spent so many years. The funeral occurred from the U. B. church Saturday, Oct. 24th, the Rev. Bonnell officiating. The body was interred in the Bloomfield cemetery.
