Mrs. Michael Welch Dies Suddenly.
Last evening at her home near the stone mill Mrs. Michael Welch died suddenly after only a short illness. About two weeks ago Mrs. Welch submitted to an operation at the hospital at Cresco, but was getting along nicely and was able to be up and about the house. Yesterday morning about eleven o’clock she was compelled to take to her bed and sank rapidly. Deceased is survived by her husband and several sisters and brothers, among the latter being R. E. Elliott.
