After a lingering illness of about a year, Miss Josie Landin passed away at her home in this place. The funeral services, which took place Monday afternoon in the Norwegian Lutheran church, were conducted by Rev. Koren. The remains weer{sic} interred in the Lutheran cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Josephine Isabella who was born March 13, 1860 and died Sept. 4, 1908. She is buried in the Calmar Lutheran Cemetery.
