Roger Wayne Waters, 31, died September 24 at his home near Frankville following a sudden heart attack. A life-long resident of the Frankville area, Mr. Waters had been employed as a construction worker.

Services for Mr. Waters were held September 27 at the Frankville Community Presbyterian Church with burial in the Frankville cemetery. The Rev. Keith Kessinger conducted the services. Pallbearers were Byron Schultz, Gerry Greus, Earl Gander, Leonard Benson, Clark Larson and Darrell Crawford. Mrs. Leslie Laterman was organist, and Mrs. Leonard Crawford was soloist. Both are from rural Postville. Funeral arrangements were made by Schutte Funeral Home of Postville.

Mr. Waters is survived by his wife, Judy; three daughters, Sherry, Sheila and LeAnn and one son, Craig, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Margaret Waters of Decorah; a sister, Marsha Waters of Decorah and a brother, Harry Waters of Clinton. Others survivors are his paternal grandfather, Fred Waters of rural Postville and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.P.Struch of Elgin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Keith Waters, his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Stella Waters, and paternal step-grandmother, Mrs. Nellie Waters.

Roger Waters was born April 16, 1941 in Postville. He was married September 25, 1960 in Frankville to the former Miss Judy Snitker.

He was a graduate of the Postville Community High School and a member of the Frankville Community Presbyterian Church.

A fellowship luncheon was served after the memorial services by the Women's Association of the church.
