Last Sunday evening Mr. Peterson who was making his home with his son Martin Peterson over south, died after a short illness. We were not well acquainted with the old gentleman so we are without any data regarding the departed. Obituary next week.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Henrik “Henry”. He was born Dec. 1835 and died Aug. 9, 1908. He is buried in the Lutheran Decorah Cemetery.
