Death of Mrs. Gaffney.
On Sunday morning the angel of death entered the home of J. Gaffney and took from it the wife and mother. Clara Wilson was born April 1, 1853, near Preston, Minn. In 1878 she married J. Gaffney. The past few years they have made Decorah their home. One son with her husband survives her.

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone in Phelps Cemetery shows she was born in 1856 and died August 16, 1908
