Death in Pleasant Township.
John Istad, son of Mr. and Mrs. John N. Istad, died Saturday last from appendicitis at the parental home in Pleasant township. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of a host of friends.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Dec. 23, 1885 and died July 11, 1908. He is buried in the Big Canoe Cemetery.
