Mr. and Mrs. Eppens received the sad intelligence this week that their little grandchild, the child of Mrs. Dora Eppens-Gordon, has been drowned in a watering tank. They went to Postville to attend the funeral.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Willard who was born Nov. 15, 1906 and died May 6, 1908. He is buried in the Postville Cemetery.
