THE SILENT REAPER.

Roy Sühring Passes Away at Prince Albert—Deaths of Young and Old are Many

ROY SÜHRING.
On Saturday last intelligence came by wire that Roy Sühring, fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sühring, was dangerously ill at his home at Prince Albert, Sask., with typhoid fever. Mr. Sühring departed on the night train, but ere he had reached his destination the Silent Reaper had claimed his son. News of Roy’s death came in a telegram received Tuesday morning, Roy left Decorah about three years ago, lured to the Canadian northwest by the opportunity that opened there to the young man. A little more than a year ago he was married, and besides his parents, brothers and sister he is survived by his wife and one child. Roy had a wide circle of friends here in his old home who will learn with sincere regret of his death. His sturdy manhood and never-failing good nature made him a favorite among his associates and the deepest sympathy is felt for the family in their sorrow. Deceased was twenty-three years old in January.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1885 and is buried in Phelps Cemetery.
