We are sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Kinney of Bluffton.

The funeral of Mrs. Miles Kinney of Bluffton was attended at the M. E. church on Sunday at 11 o’clock. Mrs. Kinney was nearly 72 years old and has been in poor health for a number of years. Her last tsetimony{sic} was, “I am ready to go any time.”

Again the grim reaper has appeared in our midst and claimed another pioneer of Bluffton township in the person of Mrs. Margaret{sic} Kinney. Mrs. Kinney was an old resident of our village, and died last Friday after an illness of several weeks’ duration. The funeral was held Sunday morning from the house to Burr Oak, where the last obsequies were held by Rev. Densmore. Mrs. Kinney leaves to mourn her loss an aged husband, three sons, several daughters and a number of grandchildren. Her remains were laid to rest by the side of her daughter in the Burr Oak cemetery.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Martha and that she was born on February 1836 and is buried in the Burr Oak Cemetery.
