Mr. Cooper, after a lingering illness, departed this wife{sic} on Monday. He leaves to mourn his loss four daughters and one son. The funeral occurred at the Catholic church{Ossian} on Wednesday morning at 10:30, Rev. Lechtenberg officiating.

Transcriber’s Note: I couldn’t find any Cooper who died in 1906 either in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery records or Find a Grave.
