Death of Ole O. Ramberg,
After a comparatively brief illness, Ole O. Ramberg a prominent farmer living just at the outskirts of the town of Calmar, died at his home Wednesday morning, December 12, 1906, from stomach and liver trouble, his death coming as a surprise to the family, as they expected him to recover.
Ole Ramberg was born in Hitterdahl, Norway, on September 28th, 1850. At the age of about three years he came to America, and has lived ever since right here near Calmar.
May 23, 1893, he was united in marriage with Olina Rovrud, and of this union four children were born , of whom three are living, at a tender ago, to mourn the loss of their father, and the wife also survives, bereft of a king husband, and besides these there is a sister who has always lived with the family, and many other distant relatives and numerous frie3nds, to regret his departure.—Calmar Courier.
The funeral was held Saturday, Dec. 15th, at about 2 o’clock, at the house and 3 o’clock at the Lutheran church.
