Last Friday morning Mrs. Patrick Collins, after a long illness, departed this life. She reached the age of only 66 years. The funeral services were held at the St. Francis Catholic church Monday morning, of which she was a devout and faithful member. The services were conducted by Rev. Lechtenberg. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, eight daughters and four sons.

Mr. and Mrs. Forkenbrock from New Hampton, also Mr. and Mrs. Weiderman from Dyersville were here to attend the funeral of their mother, Mrs. Collins, Monday.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Mary who was born Oct. 15, 1840.
