Two Aged Citizens of Highland Die.
Two veteran citizens of Highland died during the past week. Andrew Thorsen, a pioneer of that town, but for a few years past a resident of Decorah, died Sunday, aged 65, and remains were taken to Highland for burial. Mrs. Harold Stoen, aged 85, died last Saturday. Her husband and five children survive her. Mrs. Ole Bidne of this city was one of the latter.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Kari Stoen who was born Oct. 7, 1821 and died Oct. 6, 1906. She is buried in the Big Canoe Lutheran Cemetery.
