Funeral services for Andrew Kenneth Anderson were conducted by the Rev. David Ash Thursday, April 24 at the United Methodist Church. Mr. Anderson, who was employed by the State Conservation Commission until his retirement, died April 21 at the Winneshiek County Memorial Hospital following an illness of several months. He was 74.

Burial was in Phelps Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Francis Arness, Errol Felke, Nanfred Felke, Arthur E Gaffney, William Keefe and Charles Quandahl. Music was furnished by Kent Brown, who played the organ, and accompanied Mrs. D.W. Willer, who was soloist. Funeral arrangements were made by Olson-Fjelstul Funeral Home.

Mr. Anderson was a high school graduate, had served in the army in World War II and was a member of the United Methodist Church and the I.O.O.F.

He was born August 25, 1900 in Portland, Oregon, the son of Charles Fremont Anderson and Elizabeth Cooper Anderson.

Mr. Anderson never married. He is survived by one brother, Charles Fremont Anderson of Decorah and three sisters, Gladys Peterson of St. Paul, Minn., Claire Anderson and Florence Barth, both of Decorah.
