After many months’ patient suffering, God has called to her reward Mrs. John Wagner, of Jackson township, who passed away at her home on Monday morning, July 16th. Mrs. Wagner, nee Mary Kuhn, daughter of George Kuhn, was at the time of her decease about thirty-seven years of age. Several months ago she was taken ill, and two operations not giving her any relief, she quietly awaited the inevitable summons of her maker. About eighteen years ago she was united in marriage with Mr. John Wagner of this place, who with six young children are left in the home to mourn the loss of a loving wife and kind mother, The other surviving members of the family are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Kuhn, and three brothers, George, Anton and Joseph, all of this community, and one sister, Mrs. Ludwig of Elma. The funeral services will be held to-morrow at 10 a. m. from the Catholic church at this place, and interment at the cemetery near town.

Transcriber’s Note: Her gravestone in St John’s Cemetery shows her name as Marie and date of birth as Dec. 8, 1869; however, it shows her date of death as July 26, 1906 which obviously is in error.
