Nathan was born on November 20, 1974 in Philadelphia, PA the son of Jeff & Diane Iverson-Turner. He graduated from Decorah High School, class of 1994. He spent his years working for Fred Carlson Company & Wicks Construction.

To know Nate was to love him; the life of the party, always the biggest smile, most contagious laugh and let us not forget the rosy cheeks. Nate was an avid sports fan. He loved all things Chicago; Cubs, Blackhawks, Bulls and most importantly Da Bears. He never missed a Hawkeye game, a Nascar race, a UFC fight or Monday night Raw. Nate loved a good game of poker, going to the boat, golfing and if not grilling himself making sure he was the supervisor of a good grill out. Nate did not need or want the fancy things in life, he was most content with good company, good music, good food and good drinks.

A well-known Mama’s boy, Nathan adored Diane beyond words. He made it his priority to be the best son, uncle and brother, spending most Sundays with Ma & Pa, always making time for his nieces and nephews and taking the role as the protector over his ‘lil sis and ‘lil bro. While the pecking order was known, you never felt anything but love in Nate’s company. He made his friends feel like family and his eternal love for the Brotherhood will be remembered-always.

While Nate’s time on earth was short, his impact was big. The love he left behind will be remembered and missed beyond measure. Nate said it best himself when talking about time, “well bro, it’s never enough.”

Nathan is survived by his parents: Jeff and Diane Iverson-Turner. Siblings: Stephanie (Clay) Koenig, Prairie du Chien, WI and Matt (Lisa) Turner, Decorah, IA. Nieces and nephews: Carli and Cael Koenig; Madison, Kadin, Kash and Jack Turner along with uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Stanley (Darlene) Iverson and Don (LaVonne) Turner. Uncles: Hank Snyder, Tom Turner, Don Turner Jr. and Joe Turner. Aunt: Sheila Iverson. Cousin: Erica Turner.
