About the last of April, 1894, Henry contracted a severe cold which terminated in the disease from which he died. The funeral occured Monday at Clermont, and a large conc{o}urse of sympath{iz}ing friends were present to attend the last sad sites of a friend and neighbor. All unite in expressions of sympathy for the friends of the deceased in this, their sad affliction.

—In speaking of the funeral of Henry McGaheran, news of whose death near Clermont was chronicled by our Castalia correspondent last week, the Postville Graphic says the cortege was the largest ever seen in Clermont, a hundred and seventeen teams following the remains to the church. At the time the McGaheran triplets went to school in Decorah they were favorites with all who knew them, and their friends here learn with sincere regret of this break in their number.

Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in St. Peters Cemetery in Clermont.
