We were very much surprised last Friday to hear that John Murray was dead and his friends were on their way here with his body. The funeral was held in the M. E. church, Rev. McCuskey officiating, His two daughters, Mrs. Jaquis and Mrs. Laughlin and their husbands were here to attend the funeral. There are two other daughters and two sons left to mourn his loss. His wife preceded him to the better world six years ago. The deceased was 66 years old.
