Dr. G. M. Staples, well known Dubuque physician, died last Saturday morning, aged 68 years. He had resided in Dubuque since 1856, was an ardent. Republican, an earnest Methodist, and a man of strict integrity. He leaves a large fortune.

Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows he was born April 26, 1827 and died Sept. 7, 1895. He is buried in Linwood Cemetery in Dubuque.
