Last Thursday occurred the funerals of two of the oldest settlers, that of Mr. Novak, aged 80, and Mrs. Zeman, aged 92.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows Mr. Novak was Josef who was born Oct. 16, 1822 and died Aug. 6, 1895. He is buried in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery.
