Brought Home for Burial.
The remains of Clem A. Mott were brought home last Monday, and were interred in Decorah cemetery yesterday. Mr. Mott was employed in the St. Olaf roller mill at Baltic, S. Dak., and was taken sick with lung fever March 24th, and died on Saturday last. He had an illness in December from which it is thought he did not fully recover, and that made him an easier prey to disease. Mr. Mott was the second son of Mr. Joseph Mott, and was born at Springwater, Dec. 6th, 1859. Some ten years ago he married Clara May Roney, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Roney, and for several years was a proprietor, with his father-in-law, of Trout Run Mills. Three years ago he removed to the place where he died. One child, a girl, with the wife, survives him. Mrs. Jas. Mott and Mr. Roney went out to Baltic last Friday night, but arrived after death had occured. They speak warmly of the kindness manifested by the people of that village.
