Old Mr. Saucer, father of George Saucer, died on the morning of the 12th inst. of some lung trouble combined with the usual infirmities of advanced years. The funeral services were held at the M. E. church here yesterday, Rev. Parkin officiating. Mr. Saucer was 82 years of age and had lived in Calmar about 7 years. He was a quiet, inoffensive man, and had been crippled with rheumatism for many years. His aged wife, who is now quite ill, and several children, survive him.
