—The sad news came last night of the death of Miss Winnie Hutchinson, who, when she lived in Decorah was a deserved favorite in her circle of young people.

DIED.
HUTCHINS0N—At Sioux City, on the 8th inst., after an illness of seven weeks. WINNIE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hutchinson, aged 28 years.

“Dust to Dust.”
The remains of Miss Winnie Hutchinson, notice of whoso death at Sioux on the 8th inst. was recorded in last week’s REPUBLICAN, were brought to Decorah for burial on Friday last. They were met at the depot, by a large number of friends and relatives of the deceased and her family and were conveyed direct to the cemetery. Miss Hutchinson’s death was from a. complication of tubercolosis and a disease of the kidneys which lasted seven weeks. During the time the family home was in Decorah she numbered among her friends a large circle of acquaintances whose sympathy goes out to the afflicted ones. Her father Joseph Hutchinson, brother Chas. T. from Nashville, Tenn., and a brother-in-law J. V. McRaith, of Iowa City, accompanied the remains to Decorah.Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows her name as Winifred and that she was born July 3, 1867. She is buried in St. Benedict Cemetery.
