Debra J. Brandt, 68, of Postville, IA, died Friday, December 18, 2020, at Good Samaritan Society in West Union, IA. Memorial services will be held at a later date with burial at Salem Cemetery in rural Waukon, IA. Martin-Grau Funeral Home in Waukon is assisting the family.

Debra Jean Brandt was born in Decorah, IA, to Eldon and Gwendolyn (Schroeder) Dull on March 25, 1952. She married Duane Brandt on June 14, 1975, and they had two boys: Michael and Matthew. Deb graduated from Cedar Rapids, IA, and later in life she attended NICC college and Upper Iowa University. She worked with special needs people and as an in-home seamstress.

She is survived by her mother Gwendolyn from Ohio; her sons: Michael from Postville, IA, and Matthew (Erica) from Cedar Rapids, IA; and a granddaughter Aubree Lynn. Deb was preceded in death by her husband Duane in 2018.
