Hugh Meikle died at the age of 32 years at his home about three miles this side of Waukon and was buried in the Frankville cemetery last Friday, the services being held in the Presbyterian church, Rev. Vannice, of Waukon, officiating, and Rev. Phillips assisting. He leaves a young wife and two small children to mourn his loss.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born April 2, 1865 and died Nov. 3, 1897.
