OBITUARY.
MRS. WILLIAM ROCHE died at her home in Freemont township, Winnesheik Co., Iowa, Oct. 17th, 1897, aged 34 years. She leaves a husband and four small children to mourn her loss. Mrs. Roche was formerly Maggie Daly, youngest daughter of John Daly and wife, of Fremont township, who with four brothers and two sisters, a large circle of relatives and troups of friends revere her memory. She was a good christian woman, kind and amiable, possessing all the glorious qualities that make humanity shine. Wherever she was known she was loved for her personal worth. Her funeral was held at the Catholic church, of which she was a member, Oct. 19th, Rev. Father Cooney officiating. A large concourse of mourners and friends followed to the spot where she was laid to rest.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born March 17, 1863 and is buried in St. Kieran’s Cemetery. It also shows her name as Margaret.
