—Diphtheria has ravished two homes in Calmar. First the youngest child of Mr. and Ms. E. B. Olson was taken and died on the 18th, and then the youngest daughter in the home of Mr. and. Mrs. T. B. Kaye, aged about six years, was smitten and died on Friday last. The parents need the sincere sympathy of all loving parents.

Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows this was Katherine who was born Jan. 3, 1892 and died Oct. 22, 1897. She is buried in Calmar Lutheran Cemetery,
