Suicide.
Spring Grove Herald:—Mrs. Kari Randen, wife of Hans Randen who resides near the western line of Caledonia township, committed suicide by hanging. No reason is known for the rash act. She left the house Monday afternoon and not returning in the evening, a search was instituted with the result that her husband on Tuesday morning met the ghastly sight of his wife hanging by a rope to a tree near the barn. Deceased was about sixty years old and so far as is known was in possession of her mental faculties, though for some time a physically frail person.
