Mrs. T. Erickson, after a painful illness, died at her home near town Tuesday evening.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Karen and that she was born June 4, 1829; however, it shows she died Nov. 5, 1897. According to the above she died May 11, 1897.
(Note the 11/5 and 5/11 numbers may have been transposed.) It shows she was buried in Hesper Lutheran Cemetery.
