DIED.
BLOUNT—At the home of her step-daughter, Mrs. L. A. Richardson, in Central City, Iowa, Thursday, May 6th, 1897, Mrs. Mary A. Blount, wife of R. M. Blount, of this city, aged 65 years, 9 months and 28 days.
Mary A; Lloyd was born July 8th, 1831, and was married to Nathan Minor in 1847. To them five children were born, four of whom survive their parents. On Nov. 4th, 1865 Mrs. Minor was married to R. M. Blount becoming step mother to four children, three of whom with their father live to mourn the loss of a kind and faithful mother and wife. In her early married life she united with the Methodist Episcopal church at Bellville, Minn., and remained an earnest Christian until death claimed her. The funeral services and interment took place at Central City, Saturday last.
