A Stricken Family.
Updegraff correspondence of the Guttenberg Press:— If any family ever met with a sad affliction and needed the sympathy of a community George Flemming and wife, who live near Wood, certainly does. Diptheria has entered their peaceful home and in a fortnight has carried away their entire family of children, consisting of four children whose ages ran from 6 to 16. Last Monday the last two were placed in their little coffins by father and mother and carried to the roadside to be taken care of by friends.
