Killed on his Wedding Day.
Oelwein, Nov. 25.—Charles Tonkinson, a contractor and builder, was struck by an east bound passenger train on the Chicago and Great Western and killed. He was crossing the tracks in a buggy when the train came along. The buggy was smashed to kindling wood and Tonkinson terribly mangled. He was to have been married Thanksgiving day, and it is said the marriage license was in his pocket at the time of the accident.
