Wife Murder.
Austin, Minn., Oct. 24.—John D. Anderson, a Swede, murdered his wife with a flatiron near Adams in this county Saturday night. It seems that they quarreled that evening and agreed to separate. He got up in the night and killed her and then tried to kill himself, one report says by poison and another with a knife. He was found two miles from home nearly dead. They had eight children.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this was Chrestina who was born May 19, 1891 and died Oct. 23, 1898. She is buried in Little Cedar Cemetery in Adams, MN.
