Harry Tanner Dead.
From the Minneapolis Journal of Tuesday evening we clip the following item relative to a young man who was well known in Decorah and Waukon.
Word was received this morning of the death of Harry L. Tanner of this city, at Roosevelt hospital, New York city, last night. The deceased was 27 years of age, a graduate of the state university, class of 1895, and had a wide acquaintance in university circles. His death was due to an attack of pneumonia. His father, W. L. Tanner, left for New York Sunday evening, but did not reach there until after his son's death.
Mr. Tanner assisted in installing the electric light plants in Decorah and Waukon and made many friends in both places. Since leaving Decorah he has made steady advancement in electrical engineering and at the time of his death held a lucrative position with the Westinghouse Company, in New York city.
