MRs. TOLEFF H. LARSEN.
Annie Bergetta Henkrlcksdater, born in Hernsbo, Norway, died at her home in Decorah October 19. Had she lived until Nov. 24 she would have completed her seventy-fourth year. Deceased was wedded to Tolef H. Larsen who survives her, in 1851, and came together to this country in 1853, settling first in Wisconsin, and removing to this state in 1855. She was the mother of seven children, six of whom are living, viz:— Henry, John and Edward, of Decorah, Ludwig, of Manitowish, Wis., Mrs. C. Hexom, of Madison, So. Dak., and Mrs. G. O. Gilbertson of Leroy, Minn. All of them except Mrs. Hexom were present at the funeral. This took place on Sunday last at the United Lutheran Church, of which she was a member. The very large attendance there attested to the esteem with which she was held by those who knew her. Burial took place in the Haugen Cemetery in the southwest corner of Decorah township adjoining the farm on which she lived for over 35 years.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the name as Anna Bergitte and her husband’s name was spelled Tollef. She is buried in Union Prairie Cemetery.
