THE SILENT REAPER.
HANNAH A. HEGG.
Hannah A. Hegg, youngest daughter of Mrs. H. A. Hegg, died last Friday morning, aged 20 years and 10 months. During last winter she was taken ill and consumption developed there from. In the spring she was sent to Winyah Sanitarium, Asheville, N C., in hopes that the mountain climate would be beneficial, but the disease had already made such inroads upon her constitution that she failed steadily. She was brought home early in September and has since been confined to the house, waiting patiently the silent summons. Friday morning she appeared to be slightly better and ate a little breakfast. About eleven o’clock she went to sleep, and while sleeping passed away. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the United Lutheran church, Revs. J. O. Haugen and A. Jacobsen officiating, and interment was made in the Lutheran cemetery. Mrs. Hegg and the family have the deep sympathy of many friends in their bereavement. Hannah was a young lady who bad endeared herself in many ways to all who know her and her death can seem to them only as untimely.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born Dec. 28, 1878 and died Oct. 13, 1899. She is buried in the Lutheran Decorah Cemetery.
